In 2016 as we were living in a community in the Low Country in South Carolina there grew a desire to create and be a practical encounter for the community that we were living in. After observing the conditions and state that people were existing in and being of the belief that if people were exposed to the truths of the person of Jesus Christ through the Christian faith that those truths would be found transforming and impacting.

As a family we took the task of demonstrating the truths of the Christian in our own community by acts of kindness. It started out as community clean ups, where we pulled around a garbage can and picked up trash throughout the neighborhood. It was so unexpected by the community to the point that many of the older residents thought we were doing it as part of a court mandate of community service. We used every opportunity to inform residents that what they were seeing is someone doing something about a present need in a practical way and the reason that we were doing it was because of our Christian faith.  More outings would lead to more encounters and more conversations.

We were just individuals doing what we could where we could.

Upon that foundation would spring forth many more ventures and opportunities to engage the world around us, starting with where we lived.

Later we would put on the 1st community event that this neighborhood ever had. The support of like minded individuals flooded in and the community got to see the diversity of the Christian community as many people from different walks of life made themselves available for the benefit of someone else. The community was given an environment where they could have fun, listen to live bands, eat good food, mingle with other residents from the neighborhood and most important hear the message of greatest IMPACT, the Gospel
